Day 3 of 31 days of caching

DAY 3
Saturday 3 August 2013

GEOCACHE A DAY
Today we drove the 200 miles to Sheffield to help my daughter Sarah move into a new flat.   After carrying boxes out of storage, in and back out of the car, and up the stairs, we finally stopped for lunch and a cup of tea.  After watching Sarah start to unpack everything for a few hours we decided to head back for the three hour journey home.  But just before we did, I quickly picked up this cache and dash nano -GC3DRWC

It was well hidden, but the side of the footpath was raised so I sat down and signed the log - hopefully the many muggles passing by didn't notice what I was doing.  Nor the two shops overlooking GZ!  Not the most exciting of caches, but it still counts for the 31 day caching challenge.

PHOTO A DAY

Today's word is 'skyline'. So I took a photo of the skyline from Sarah's new bedroom window.  It looks like I've taken it at an angle but if you notice the foreground it has been taken straight.  The skyline is a long hill going down to the left side.  Everywhere you look in Sheffield there is a hill and this photo really demonstrates that.
