Caching at night

This evening I went to the cinema with my daughter to watch the latest Twilight film (I'm in TeamJacob).

Well after a disappointing love sick chick flick which bored me to tears (apart the few minutes of gory bits) I had to go out for a bit of fresh air and undertake a little challenge of my own. To find a cache at night in busy Southend town.   So I went for the nearest one to the cinema - the one at Southend Museum - just a few hundred feet away. Perfect.

It was pretty busy around the train station and the cinema, but not too many people were venturing this far, so I didn't have to avoid too many muggles in this dark corner.

It took me a while, I had a fair idea of where it might be, but even then I was being a bit thick (probably addled by all the kissing I'd just witnessed) Finally though I found it. Went to sign the log and realised I had come out unprepared. What... no pen! Call myself a cacher - tut tut.

Sorry Piston Smash but I had to sign the log with some lipstick (don't worry it's unused - not even sure why I have it in my handbag!). I've taken a photo of my blobby signature as evidence, so I hope it will suffice. TFTC. Normality is restored and I have another date in the calendar filled in - not that I'm succeeding very well in finding a cache for every day of the year.
